Welcome to the Wonderful World of Geocaching

I would like to start by mentioning that today Will and I have 4 years since we got married. We have had some great years together and we are looking for many more to come. We have been blessed with our little girl, Maria who arrived 2 years and 3 months ago and we are a very happy family together.

Here are our annual pictures (can still fit in the skirt, yeah!)
 4 year anniversary

Apologies for not writing again for a while and I don't want to blame our weekends away, but just probably my lack of time to download the pictures and write on the blog.

This year started well for us, with some nice trips in the UK, weekends away, with many geocaches found (broke the record in January). For those who are not familiar with this, check the website: http://www.geocaching.com/, get a GPS and go hiking, walking and having fun. We have discovered so many nice places that we wouldn't have known about or visited if it wasn't for this nice hobby. We should say a big "Thank You" to our friends Alan and Siew Gin who introduced us to it.

Here are some pictures from our trips in the UK in January and February:

Our first travel bug received its mission to visit all the Olympic capitals. Good luck and hope it will get to see lots of nice Olympic stadiums and villages. Fingers crossed.
Somewhere in the middle of nowhere, in Devizes area, where we left our first travel bug.
Maria is used to travelling with us and she still enjoys being carried in the MacPac, when she gets tired from walking.
Sometimes, she gets tired though, bless her!
 More "treasure" found
A nice walk along the canal, in searching for more caches
It's mummy's turn to carry Maria

In the middle of February we went for a trip to France to see Maria's uncle Edward and aunt Valerie and also our friends Matt and Sally. We had a very nice time and on the way, we stopped to find some more caches on foreign territory.

 Auxerre
Let's find more treasure, mummy and daddy. The excitement is building up.
 Treasure found. Tick!
This one was for more adventurous ones who can climb up mountains...
the Mitchell brothers
In Vif (close to Grenoble) area
Cache found at the Twin Lakes
Maria is already interested in GPS and finding more treasure

While in France, we tried to take Maria skiing, but we couldn't. Apparently she is too young and the smallest boots she could fit in are 3 sizes bigger than her current size. So, we needed a second plan and decided to rent a luge and go down the slope. Let's see how Maria "enjoyed" her experience. The pictures say it all!

 Hmm, not sure about that
Oh, no, daddy. I don't like it!
 I definitely don't like this!
One big smile and one big cry
 That's too much
Second time was not as bad...
but pulling daddy is what I really like
Maybe I can try on my own?
 (only up the hill)
 Perhaps I can enjoy it!?
 I do like that!
