France 2013

In July, we went to visit our relatives in Grenoble, France and their new baby boy addition. It was a very nice trip combined with the 100th Tour de France. Elsa and Maria loved the bikes and they were very patient waiting for them. Maria also liked the publicity caravan that comes before the cyclists. Here are some pictures from our trip.

Elsa's favourite saying of the day: "more bikes coming, I, I like it...", clapping hands

Busy Spring and Summer 2013

I am really sorry it's been such a long time since I posted pictures and stories. The summer has been very busy and we took advantage of the last year when we can travel outside of school holiday. And that is because Maria starts school next week. Yes, it's true! Very hard to believe, but true. She will embark on a new journey, with a new teacher and making new friends. But, let's get back to our time before school starts.

What have we been up to after coming back from Romania?

In May we went to the Lake District with our godson, Francis and his parents Matt and Sally. We had a lovely time there, doing some caches, playing games, swimming and for the first time, Maria went rowing a boat with her mummy. Here are some pictures from our trip to the Lake District.

It's only us, the lake and the mountains

While we were rowing the boat, Daddy and Elsa were walking around the lake, taking pictures and finding treasure

In June, we went to Pembrokshire with Grannie and Granddad and we stayed on a beach cottage in Abereiddi. The girls loved the views, geocaching and especially the sunset.

Geocaching with Grannie and Granddad. Did Daddy find a hole in the ground? Or a bunker?
Another funky geocache. With special dedication to Edi!
