Elsa's Christening in Brasov

This year we decided to go to Brasov in early spring. Elsa's Christening and seeing our family and a few friends were the main reasons for our trip. The four cousins got along very well and they enjoyed very much the time they spent together. It was very sweet to see them all play so nicely with each other and lovely to hear Maria speaking a bit Romanian, too.

On the 23rd of March, we took Elsa to the Orthodox church to have her baptised. Her experience of being in a church, at her Christening was completely different than Maria's. Elsa was 1 year older at her Christening and she was not a very happy bunny at her Christening, despite all the efforts of her Godmothers, Mio and Alexandra.

Here are some pictures from Elsa's special day.

A very cute and cheeky smile of our 18 months old little girl

Happy girls at grandparents home, just the morning after our arrival. This is just the beginning of a long, special and very nice day.

Elsa with her Godmothers, non-smily moments for her

She didn't seem to be very keen on going in the water either

Thank you all family and friends who came to Elsa's Christening and celebrate this special moment with us

Both Maria and Elsa loved this part of the day the most!
